Apollo’s print capabilities range from wallet sizes to continuous-tone images stretching 50 feet in length. Both Durst Lambda and Kodak RP 30 laser-output devices are housed in the lab’s Milwaukee printing facility.
Apollo can scan film, photographs, negatives, transparencies and mounted slides. Staff colorists provide consistent color correction to optimize final products, as well as extensive retouching and artwork. Assistance with color calibration is available for those who prefer to do their own color correction.
Because of their superior properties for color saturation, reproduction of visual effects and trueness to flesh tones, Kodak papers are used for all prints. E-surface is the house standard; pearlescent metallic and glossy are also offered. Prints are available in color, sepia, black and white, and tones of blue or pink.
Beyond basic prints, skilled staff members excel at providing enhancements that turn nice images into remarkable images. Technicians can work to the specifications of photographers who need competition prints or high-end portraits that will wow clients.

- Special effects that include blue screen, ethereal, aged sepia, polarized, acid wash and cross processed.
- Full finishing services such as embossed textures that prevent reproduction, brush and water-based coating, and lamination.

Apollo works with industry-standard ordering systems such as LabPrints, ImageQuix and the Remote Order Entry System (ROES). Several service levels are available for prints.
